When I first brought home my rescue pup Gemini, I never imagined she would inspire an entire business. Like many new pet parents, I stocked up on store-bought treats to help with training and bonding. But Gemini had other plans – she had a reaction that left me worried and searching for answers.

That's when I started reading ingredient labels, really reading them. What I discovered shocked me: most commercial dog treats were packed with artificial preservatives, fillers, and ingredients I couldn't even pronounce. I knew my sweet Gem deserved better.

From Kitchen Experiments to Tail-Wagging Success

Determined to give Gemini treats that were actually good for her, I dove into research about canine nutrition and started experimenting in my kitchen. After countless batches (and plenty of taste-testing from Gemini and her brother Loki), I finally created recipes that made both dogs go absolutely crazy with excitement.

The transformation was amazing – not only did Gemini have no more reactions, but both dogs were healthier, happier, and more energetic than ever.

When friends and family saw how much my rescues loved these homemade treats, they started asking me to make some for their dogs too. Word spread, tails wagged, and before I knew it, Gem's Tasty Treats was born.
